40 Years of Vancouver Fringe Festival

If you don’t know, Fringe is a theatre festival that started in Edinburgh but has since come to major cities all around the world. Fringe is built on a simple principle – anyone can submit a play. This basic tenement means that Fringe plays are sometimes provocative, sometimes wild, and always an experience you’ll never forget.

Artists from around the world come to Vancouver every September to put on plays that will challenge and entertain you.  The Vancouver Fringe Festival is a hit amongst all age groups and is best described as a combination of live theatre, dance, spoken word, comedy, opera and improv.
